RFEOI: Private Sector Partner for Redevelopment of North Surrey Recreation Centre & Ice Rinks (“Centre Block”)

January 8, 2014

Surrey City Development Corporation (“SCDC”), on behalf of the City of Surrey (the “City”), is coordinating the development planning for the redevelopment of the current the North Surrey Recreation Centre & Ice Rinks (“Centre Block”) within Surrey City Centre.  This area is becoming the commercial, cultural and social hub of the city and is anchored by City Hall, the new public Library, 3 Civic Plaza (residential/hotel/office), Central City Tower & Mall, and now the redevelopment of the existing North Surrey Recreation Centre and ice rinks site.

The redevelopment of the North Surrey Recreation Centre site, also referred to as the Centre Block (the “Site”) is located at 10275 & 10277 City Parkway in Surrey City Centre, bounded by 102 Ave to the south, the future 103 Ave to the north, City Parkway and the Surrey City Centre SkyTrain station to the east, and University Drive to the west.
