Housing Vancouver Report (also referred to as ‘The Mayor’s Housing Reset’)

July 27, 2017

The Housing Vancouver report recommends aggressive housing supply targets. Draft targets call for 72,000 new housing units to be built by 2026. This plan prioritizes the creation rental housing to meet the greatest need.

The Urban Development Institute supports the City’s goal to create more affordable housing across the housing continuum.

UDI will collaborate with planning staff on identifying a set of economic incentives for developers. We look forward to working with the City to achieve these ambitious housing supply targets.

This report will be addressed at the September 26th UDI lunch featuring Gil Kelley and Kaye Krisha. Tickets on sale now.
