Drywall Tariff – Call to Action

UDI Members,

As you are aware, the Federal Government has ordered a review of the drywall tariffs in Western Canada.

As of September 6, 2016, all imported drywall is subjected to a 105.2% to 276.5% tariff.

We urge you to send a letter to Minister Coleman and Premier Clark expressing how this tax will impact the building industry and housing affordability.

We are supporting CHBA’s campaign to remove the tariff until a full review of its impacts can take place. Click here for a sample letter from CHBA which has already been sent to the Province.
