  1. I am a member of UDI (i.e. architect, engineer) but the developer of the project is not a member. Can I enter the project on the developer’s behalf?
    No. The developer (recipient of the award) must be a UDI member.
  2. I am a member (developer) but some of the development team are not members. Can they enter the project on my behalf?
    Yes, providing you give consent
  3. Is the project team recognized at the ceremony?
    We encourage the winner to recognize the whole team.
  4. I am unsure about the criteria and which category to enter. How do I get more information?

  5. If I want to enter in more than one category, is that a separate entry?
    Yes, each entry is considered a new submission.
  6. When will the judging take place?
    The jury will have online access to the submissions as soon as the deadline for entries passes.
  7. Are projects outside the Lower Mainland eligible?
    Yes, providing the developer is a member of UDI. For example, a member of UDI Okanagan is eligible to submit a project in any of the categories. In addition, there will be a special award for the Okanagan, Vancouver Island and the Fraser Valley.
  8. Is it possible to have duplicates made of the awards for the development team?
    Yes, you can have as many made as you wish, for a fee.
  9. When is the Awards ceremony? Can I buy a table?
    The Awards will be honoured at UDI’s 50 Anniversary Gala dinner on February 24, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 655 Burrard Street, Vancouver. More information will be available about pricing and purchasing tables on the UDI website, after the deadline submission.
