UDI letter to City of Vancouver re: DCL increases

July 20, 2017

The City of Vancouver is planning to increase Development Cost Levies (DCLs) on all projects. At issue is the perception that the industry is paying duplicate fees through both Community Amenity Contributions (CACs) and DCLs for child care, affordable housing and other amenities. UDI has requested more clarity around how these two fees are allocated and imposed to avoid double-charges.  UDI Letter to CoV re Development Cost Levy Increase July 13 2017
