District of North Vancouver – Development Servicing Bylaw 8145 presentation – Wed July 19, 3:00 – 4:30pm

July 14, 2017

To Land Developers and Engineering Consultants,

On June 19th, 2017, the DNV’s new Development Servicing Bylaw No. 8145 was adopted and is being applied to all new development applications. The new bylaw (http://www.dnv.org/sites/default/files/bylaws/Bylaw%208145.pdf), which replaces bylaw 7388, regulates and requires the provision of works and services for land development.

At 3pm to 4:30pm on Wednesday July 19, you are invited to Council Chambers at the DNV District Hall to learn about the new bylaw. There will be a 30-45 minute presentation about Bylaw 8145 and a future companion guideline document that will help guide developers and their teams through the DNV’s engineering review and servicing requirements. The remainder of the session will be allocated for questions and discussion.

Please feel free to send a delegate to this meeting and to pass this invite on to colleagues who may benefit from attending.

I look forward to seeing you on July 19th (3pm, Council Chambers, District Hall).

Regards
